Why does climate change matter to you and your business?

I was so pleased to be asked to work on this project, because it was so different and it actually meant something to me. It also had a really high production value, and the end result was so polished and well integrated.

I worked with a really dedicated team of developers who weren’t afraid of late nights in the office and pedantic reviews by the very talented lead visual designer.

The course combined movie like presentations with interactive elements to help learners understand about how what they did in the course of their work could affect their carbon footprint.

I continue to be surprised at just how much energy you can save just by turning your computer off at the end of each day.

risk and compliance: Seamless and to the point

Project: Risk and Compliance
Client: AMP
Working for: The Learning Group
Role: Lead Developer

When this project started I had some concerns, particularly about whether we would be able to complete the brief in the budget allocated. Up front communication with the Lead Instructional Designer and the Lead Visual Designer helped to prevent this however, and we came up with an amazing suite of e-learning to help AMP deliver Risk and Compliance training to their non-permanent employees.

It was a challenge for me, because the design was made to have a seamless feel, one “page” transitioning to the next with a nice flow. This didn’t fit into the standard templates that we had to use. I created a brand new set of templates that were easy for others to use but were sophisticated enough to maintain the seamless, professional feel.
