As per my previous post… Comments are naturally welcome! I am searching for some text or a nice quotation to put on each print. The cat is from istockphoto, although edited and modified to suit the prints/style.

Good grief. To break the blog drought, I’ve decided to make some wall art for Nicholas’ nursery. I’m sick of seeing blank white walls everywhere in the house!! And the range of child friendly and cheap/tacky artwork here (without commissioning someone to actually do it) seems to be… slim. Either I adorn the walls with Winnie the Pooh, or I make my own!
I’ve been trawling etsy and pinterest for inspiration, and am looking forward to loading up the old laptop and starting in on some designs. Fingers crossed I can come up with a set before Christmas!
There were a lot of things about the previous theme which were starting to bug me, so I’ve temporarily pulled it down (while I spend the time to rework the code) and replaced it with the StudioPress Theme.
I’m hoping that with a few less irritations about this website I will be encouraged to blog more.
Life has been hectic since we moved to Manila (as indicated by the length of time between this and my last post!!) however I’m promising myself to start blogging more. If at least to record this last month before Peanut comes along…
Anyway, this is version 4 of eeejay.net and hopefully there aren’t too many kinks in it! It has been a long time since I’ve done any coding and to be honest I felt extremely rusty putting the new design together… Let me know if there are significant issues!!
I have a thousand apologies and a promise. So first the abridged apologies – I apologise for neglecting this website and I apologise for not posting anything up for such a long time.
Secondly, the promise. I am about to finish my degree, so I promise I will have more time to devote to things of a more creative nature, rather than spending my evenings writing about sustainability theory, organisational design, and other such nonsense. Lol.
And I promise there will be a new layout. I’m in an exciting time of my life right now (which some of you may know) and I want my website to reflect this.
So keep an eye on this space! Take care!
