A quickie baby

I’m almost at the end of my last assignment for the semester (and I sigh when I say that because the next semester starts next week – darn, no break) and am about to tear my hair out with frustration over my apparent writers block.

So to try and recharge the batteries, here is a quick Photoshop treated photo that I took from our apartment in Manila. The camera I used was the one in my mobile phone – LG KC910. I actually really like taking dusk and night shots with this camera, because I find that it treats light differently to point and shoot (which is an Olympus of some model I can’t remember right now).

An intermission

I haven’t posted in a while, because I’ve been swamped with uni work. Who knew that study via the Internet would be so time consuming! In any case, I have spent a little time going through old photos, and in the spare moments that I have I’ve been editing some photos.

This photo I haven’t edited, but thought I would share it because it makes me laugh. And then it makes me cringe a little because it’s a little freaky.

I took it when we were in New Zealand for our honeymoon. We had driven up the coast of the south island to get to Kaikoura and had made our way along a scenic road to a lookout point. The cows were in a field at the bottom of the lookout.

I did feel worried as I took this photo, because I got the sense the cow wasn’t happy I was there!
